wondering if Bona-Mara lineup will work vs some opponents but perhaps not most. I think the most natural lineup - the one that works in Mick Cronin's base offense approaches - starts with Bona and Andrews - inside and out - adds Berke at PF and Stefanovic at wing. Then you're looking for one other starter.
Three months ago I thought McClendon made sense with his experience and his understanding of Cronin defense but your point is right on - if he can't shoot, he's at most a part time bench player. Mack is showing a lot but Vide may very well be the choice. It's a team game, the parts have to fit together and mesh. Guard play and quickness is so important in modern basketball, I just will be surprised if we start with a super tall lineup against all opposition.
