"I ain't no" Angel Reese is a playground star. She will do everything she can to impose her will on the other team. (if they can get Jones switched onto her she can have a field day) And, as a friend reminded me via email, it's nearly always the player retaliating to something who gets called by the refs.
Kiki Rice seems to be exploding - taking a major step forward in that genre of imposing her will on a game; she's tough as nails but a sophomore to Reese's senior. Charisma Osborne - equally tough - could get the primary job of taking on LSU's hottest player.
This is going to be one tough matchup - and it won't get any easier after that with Caitlin Clark likely waiting in the wings to get "next." Sontag isn't playing as she did for most of the season - suspect her leg is hindering her some - and Londynn Jones has hit the solidest of walls. i know a shooter goes through cycles and the instructions are "just keep shooting" but at this level that can easily cost your team the game. It's noteworthy that at least this past game she quit shooting when it wasn't there but her defense (or lack of same) has been really bad.
We probably need both with our short bench to continue to play on
