Chin, flex, Spanish, zoom... they've all been around for a while. Some are ancient.
What makes Hurley different is that he's making the commitment to actually practice it and do it in games. Many coaches say, "it's too hard. The kids are too dumb. They can't execute the actions. It's gonna be a lot of work. Let's just take the easy way. The kids will like that."
Some pianists are happy being able to play "happy birthday". Other pianists want to be able to play Mozart. Playing Mozart is much harder, but more gratifying to listen to.
