OK. He made the tournament every year there was a tournament. UCLA, at best, was a play-in team that season.
But your disingenuous first comment leaves out an important fact. He won two more games than Anderson but lost four fewer. 20-12 is a lot better than 18-16.
One bad season does not "raise legitimate questions" given his vast experience as a head and assistant coach. They lost four players who are now in the NBA and most of their starters were injured at some point this season. Only two players started most of their games.
What has Cronin done? In 13 seasons at Cincinnati he won one conference championship and tied for another. He made one Sweet Sixteen. At UCLA, after the Final Four, two S16's and then missed the tournament.
I would take Musselman's resume over Cronin's and I'm not a troll.
