The buyout is irrelevant. They were gonna pay 33mm to buy Cal out PLUS a 20mm buyout for a new coach. Most every coach has a big buyout today. It’s one of the reasons why Muss was so desirable.
If Oats is offered the job, he’s taking it. Kentucky is the pinnacle of the collegiate profession. I still think Billy D is the guy. The Q is can he take the job when the Bulls are in the playin game or can UK wait. That Bulls job is not great and there is a lot of internal strife and strange roster construction.
