Not sure he would have done any better than Mick from 2019 to now. UCLA probably would not have Tyger, Jaime, Clark, and Juzang if Cal came. Cal would have brought in some of his highly rated recruits that would have left after one season even if they really needed to stay.
I'm glad he didn't come b/c I would not have been able to watch my favorite Bruin player Jaylen Clark. Loved watching him play
