I live in NY City and I’d give up much more for UCLA football to be relevant and massively successful. Your hypothetical is also silly since La county has, what, 10x the population of Lexington. There are plenty of people in LA to get behind UCLA. I’m pretty sure the alumni base is larger for ucla than uk too.
