The Euros practice 5 times a week and have 1 game. In the US we'll have 5 games and 1 practice. That's why they have a better understanding of the game on average.

It also leads to younger players in the US whose bodies are sometimes used up.

Euros play with older more physical players. They also can be benched whereas you can't bench a good AAU player. They will just leave. The Euros are more coachable since that is how their system is set up.

Euro offenses are much more technical having multiple movements at a time to create options, one after another where as the US game has become simplified to a 1 on 1, 2 on 2 or at best a 3-man game where oftentimes they have to reset after each well-defended movement. Look at the video below to see how much better Quin Synder's Euro-based offense is.

The Euro game is officiated differently which requires more physicality, less flopping, and actual offensive skill.
