Bribes for players? I'm having a hard time understanding how a school spends MILLIONS of $$$$$ on "recruiting".
What is "recruiting"?
calling a kid on the phone...not expensive
texting a kid....even less expensive
hosting a kid on an official...not a big deal
flying across the country to recruit kids...there are only 5 or so coaches who are authorized by the NCAA to do that, so not that expensive
hiring recruiting analysts to determine who to recruit...not expensive. just use the internet slappies!
so the big money must be spent on bribes, kickbacks, and other inducements (girls, pharma, etc.)
What am I missing?
