BBall coaches- best way to defend against cherry picking?

surprisingly, there are no YT videos on how to defend the cherry pick in basketball.

what do you all recommend? 75% of the time we usually play zone defense. If we were in man defense, it'd be easier to defend b/c if your man leaks out for the cherry pick, when our team's shot goes up, whoever's assigned to the cherry picker must go with him

when playing zone, it's a lil more confusing. should we just make the rule that the top 2 players in the zone defense (2-3 zone) have to run back? But what if one of those players drives to the basket for a shot?
