Where do you get the idea that Mack is out of the mix? They mentioned Andrews, Harris and Clark but said Perry would be hard pressed to get even 12 minutes. There are 80 minutes in a game for two guards, not including more minutes if they go small with three. That gives the top four around 20 minutes each, even if Perry gets some minutes. Time will be based on matchups and situations.
Also, nobody redshirts in basketball to preserve a year of eligibility anymore. Who was the last Bruin who missed a year for anything other than an injury or ineligibility? Nwuba redshirted a year, but only to develop because he wasn't very good.
