was lead the team in free throws (125) and steals (44), and be #3 in assists (52), field goals (123), total rebounds (118) and minutes played (882).
He was clearly the best defensive player in the backcourt, with leading advanced statistics for Defensive Rating (101.4) and Defensive Box Plus Minus (2.4).
His offense was, of course, up and down (at best) last year, but he was injured much of the season, and there really wasn't anyone else willing to pick up the slack, at least until Andrews started to bloom at the end of the season.
Mack seemingly does a lot more of the dirty work Cronin depends on, and he has a lot more offensive help this season. He's a proven commodity who likely won't relinquish his spot on the team easily.
