coaches and players to get it right. Especially early in the year, it's particularly difficult when practice is nearing end and you are tired and beat up. Same for coaches. It takes a lot of discipline and patience to stay focused on all of the many fundamental details for several hours of practice while continually observing and correcting the player's improper execution of fundamental moves (either individual or as a group). For me, as a player and later coach, the first 4 weeks of practice were pretty brutal, both mentally and physically.
