The golf course is run by a foundation that benefits veterans and trains vets for jobs at local courses. So that is a reason a very large section of the property will probably not be affected. But it is also supposed to be for the veterans to play free, but most of the times I've been there not many of the golfers appear to be vets. They also had some employees embezzling greens fees several years ago which forced the course to close for a while.
So maybe UCLA baseball can offer to train veterans for jobs at Dodger Stadium which are desperately needed like starting pitchers.
