You missed the point. The point is now we have 14 year olds signing with agents. Obviously 14 year olds can’t execute legally binding documents so it’s really his folks, but it’s a whole new level world.
I actually don’t think this is a terrible thing provided that the parents are adequately informed in the subject matter. That’s a cavernous caveat because a huge percentage of people are not. The downside is there is a lot of predatory practices in this space and high school freshman are ripe to be taken advantage of. Alternative, there are a lot of NIL and ancillary issues that competent representation could be really beneficial.
