based on the way they handled #1 Kansas. I don't believe you will see a better guard combo than Wagner and freshman Flan in the college game.
Speaking of guards, there is another freshman guard that looks really good, game very similar to Wagner, and can shoot from the three and take it inside with power. It's Michigan's 6'2, 190 lb L. J. Cason. Was recruited by May in Florida and when May signed with Michigan, Cason followed him there. The guy is very physical in his style of play with moves and plays much like an NBA guard on both ends of the court. In 19 minutes of play off the bench against a scrappy Toledo team, he scored 20 points on 6 for 7 shooting (plus 4 of 4 free throws) and that included 4 for 4 threes, mostly at or near NBA 3 point range. He was tied with Ohio State transfer guard, Roddy Gayle for scoring honors. He just has that competitive look about him (and a beautiful shooting stroke) that I like in a guard.
