doesn't necessarily have anything to do with scoring.
Cronin, right now, is trying to figure out roles (and probably a lot of other things) and who he can depend and rely on for what. These guys (all of them - Cronin, staff, and players) all have a lot of work to do before they can even get anywhere near their potential - a lot of work, both individually and collectively.
And then Cronin is going to have to coach them up to play to their individual and collective strengths, teach them to play that way consistently (IOW smart), and figure out how to manage and meld all the talent he has. A lot of work.
My main takeaway from last night was that this is a team in progress with a long way to go. And they're going to have to address their post issues among all the other issues they need to work on.
I caution everyone. It's going to take a long time before this team is the "tough out" I think they can be.
