in the exhibition game against Cal State LA was the 31 assists on 40 made baskets.
To me that speaks of intent. It's hard to gauge anything meaningful from a game with an incredibly over matched opponent, but the Bruins were moving the ball and just in general terms that bodes well for UCLA.
Any time a team moves the ball and moves without the ball they stand a better chance of success. It's just basics and to me basics and fundamentals, along with talent, is a tough formula to play against. Add to that Cronin's insistence on stellar defense and it's all a formidable combination. We will see if those aspects of play can continue against stiffer and better competition.
