Agree with your assessment on the bigs. IMO Mara needs to have things simplified for him…no hedges, no following your man outside and no screens on O. Park him down low with his back to the basket on both ends. On O, if they don’t double him give him the green light for his hook (he is also an above average passer of if the double comes he should get it out). Play Kyle at the same time and have him set the screens on O … drive a guard and if the big goes to cover … toss the ball up for Mara to go after … simple but probably the most he can handle right now. The only problem I can see with the above plan is the potential impact on TBil if you clog the middle too much … so maybe don’t run TBil and Mara at the same time right now. Just some thoughts… still would like another bruiser big but Mata is not walking through the door soon.
