First thing to keep in mind is BU is "un-defeated". Not to mention giving up team speed and height.

Not surprising that CMC no doubt browbeat them after the NM game such that their motors were fully energized and they played D, offensively.

OTOH, little O creativity in CMC's halfcourt sets, as mostly ISO's and unassisted FGAs ~ 8 dimes on 14 made baskets. Plus, a good # of FGs made came in transition/off of steals.

So, who was the high scorer (OK, tied for high scorer)? William Kyle III. His comfort level was finally at a noticeable level on both ends as he exhibited what he had yet to show ~ A-N-T-I-C-I-P-A-T-I-O-N.

Back to the D end, you know he's Cronin's kind of player as Kobe was actively ballhawking in the passing lanes.

The owes in the turnover game are still evident, as the 1H featured double-digit TOs by UCLA which CMC is addressing/screaming in the locker room as we speak. No Andrews, and nobody really picking up the slack.

BU's starting 5 has been put in a vice, as only 1 of their starters has more than 1 hoop, what with UCLA dictating pace at both ends. The key to this game is not the score, but to what extent UCLA can bend the game to their will. They're clearly doing so on the D end, but the O end is still a work-in-process.

GO BRUINS!
