UCLA a bunch of deadeye dicks tonite, outshooting ID by a ton. This ID team came within 6 pts of $cum at the Galen Non-Events Center, but UCLA's D is doing a # on them tonite.
ID is shooting a spare 32% from the field, but a stunning 76% of those FGAs were from the arc where ID is shooting only 26% (that's 5 of 19 vs 4-7 for UCLA, who has been penetrating the paint at will, led by Mack.
Finally took the air out of ID's Griffin who quickly scored all of ID's initial 12 points leveraging his size advantage over UCLA guards on D. Speaking of taking the air out of the ball, ID failed notably as UCLA's O has been flexing tonite. Lead scorer with 12 is Dailey who hasn't missed from the field and is not forcing anything tonite ~~ shooting in rhythm has been a tonic for him.
Nice to see Andrews back but it looks like he's on a minutes restriction until he gets back to full strength from his groin pull.
Kyle is flexing his athleticism a little more each game on O, which is great to see..........for everyone not named Mara.
Should be a walkover in the 2H, as ID can't dictate any pace, albeit it's hard to imagine them shooting as poorly as they did in the 1H.
