Caught the replay of last night's game although unfortunately my Big 10 network recording joined the game with only 7 minutes left in the first half. But in those last 7 minutes of first half Perry ran the point. W 7 minutes left it was 26-19. Half ended 41-27. 2nd half he got no time at PG and we tied the half.
Obviously it's just 1 game but the offense ran much smoother in those 7 minutes than the rest of the game. Same thing I've observed in earlier games as well. He's got good size and composure. See's the floor well. Smooth.
Also, when he's PG other players come back to the ball more and help initiate, and Perry makes the simple pass. For some reason they don't seem to do that when Dylan runs the point. When Dylan runs it seems like he spends the first 10 to 15 seconds of the shot clock dribbling aimlessly. As I've said last year I like Dylan as a basketball player but not a PG.
I'd start Perry at PG, with Clark as backup. Give Dillon time at SG and at the 3 in a small lineup.
