My main takeaway from the 1H was:
John Mikey Square.
I mean, what were his parents thinking?
Aside from boarding (17 to 22), UCLA was winning all the metrics, particularly winning the floor game decisively (9 dimes to only 3 TOs, vs a stuttering 5: 11 for the Titans). And, he picked up for our Mack Attack missing 5 of his 6 FGAs.
Kobe is leading the way as beyond his leading 12 points he’s out-stolen the entire Titans team, 4 to 3.
Dylan is still struggling with his shot but he has dished out a game high 3 dimes.
Neither team can hit from the arc (2-12 vs 3-12 for UCLA) which would likely prove a speedbump against a slid opponent but that’s why the O end is usually the challenge for a CMC team.
Keep that superior floor game going and we’ll be having cooked Titans for the night.
GO BRUINS!
