congratulations to Cori and the team!
Truly an elite team but hope they remember what Close was repeating after the game - it was a fantastic game, great achievement, but it's November, not March.. Hope they can keep that in mind - and can avoid significant injuries this year.
Also, Cori wound up crediting the scouting report on South Carolina - which is terrific - but you can bet your bottom dollar Dawn Staley was listening and if we meet again in the tournament she is going to do some serious self-scouting and see what she can do to mess up Cori's game plan against them. We have enough talent and diversified weapons to counter anything she tries against us - but it's going to be a brand new game next time around .
But for now - so happy for the team, the program and the players to be getting the recognition they so richly deserve
