We have played weak nonconference schedules before and not done nearly as well, even after considering the loss to New Mexico. Just for comparison, the 2022-23 squad led by JJJ that finished 31-6 and was ranked in the Top 10 most of the year won just two nonconference games by 30+ points.

I will be very interested to see how this team does against better competition.
