Offensive efficiency is basically points per possession. These are factors that contribute to that:
1) Shooting percentage
2) Percent of made shots that are threes.
3) Percentage of possessions that result in a shot (rather than a turnover).
4) Offensive rebounds, which can give you more than one shot per possession.
Our offensive efficiency under Cronin is high primarily because of #3 and #4. We don't typically shoot a high precentage or take a ton of threes.
It doesn't matter how you get there, as long as you get there.
