enigma and continues to be. From my perspective, UCLA should have easily beat Oregon, Arizona, and North Carolina. If memory serves, UCLA built substantial leads against all three. Instead of holding or building on those leads they lost all of them.

It doesn't take much to see what the problem is. As has been discussed almost all season, there have been concerns about post play. I think those concerns have been addressed sufficiently enough at this point to move forward. Mara and Kyle will continue to grow and improve and earn more minutes and their effectiveness will improve. In the meantime Cronin will make do with Bilodeau. It's not ideal but even with Bilodeau at the five the Bruins are effective.

The overwhelming concern, as others have also stated, is at the point - precisely with Dylan Andrews. I get the feeling that perhaps Andrews is uncomfortable with a leadership role. That maybe he just doesn't want it. I don't know if the problem is confidence or personality, but it's clear the problem isn't a lack of talent. So the enigma continues.

Unfortunately for Andrews and the Bruins there really is no one else. IMO, Clark comes the closest with the ability to take on that role, but I don't think he can even approach Andrews' late last season's performance. The Bruins need Andrews to play to his abilities. Until that happens I think we will continue to see the Bruins play tight games that shouldn't be and probably win some and lose some and occasionally everything coming together and allowing us to see what might be. With Andrews playing consistently near his abilities this team, IMO, would be hard for anyone to beat and all that that implies.
