The statistics are sorta irrelevant. We aren’t talking about guys going to Tarleton State. The kids ICLA is looking at ALL have the desire and expectation to play pro ball. Of the kids on the roster how many are there for thr educations? Zero? 1, maybe? In the modern basketball universe there are a lot more opportunities than just the NBA. There are opportunities to play in Europe, Asia, Australia, and even South America. These kids want to make their living playing ball, not splicing atoms or discussing Jane Eyre.
You and I may value the education but the time and effort it takes to become a Duke level hooper more often than not means academic are a distant 4th (behind, training, working out, girls, etc) in priority.
