again."
The call was unequivocal, as no one on UCLA said boo.
All 3 refs so ruled without any hesitation, along with DA himself fully aware that he had turned the ball over (off his knee) with no dispute on his part. That stop-gap freeze photo, ***taken from above***, most definitely does not show any contact with the wrist as the defender's hand was clearly above the ball AND Dylan, as seen on CBS video clips.
What you don't see on that stop-gap freeze photo is DA already starting to lose control/grasp of the ball (akin to a football reception just inside the sidelines, where the receiver fails to maintain control of the ball all the way thru his going out of bounds and falling to the ground).
In fact, the defender, *subsequent* to your stop-gap freeze photo, THEN made initial contact with the already moving ball out of DA's grasp (inclusive of DA's fingers which are part of the ball.) If you want to check your handy-dandy rulebook, feel free to 'try again'. Here's a tip, in the final 2 mins the refs are free to review any play. They never hesitated for a moment in ruling that no review was necessary as no reach-in foul occurred, either 9 of 10 or 1 of 10 times.
