Watching Nebraska a couple of times during the Diamond Head Classic as the Huskers won the tourney title taking out a surprisingly good Oregon State team full of transfers and foreign players.
Berke ended up making the all-tournament team and plays a big role in their deep and experienced team's success. He's added some weight and strength since his Bruins days but still handles the ball well for a big guy. Senior guard Brice Williams was a well-deserved MVP. Familiar to Pac 12 fans is starting center dunker Braxton Meah (U Dub) plus senior guard Rollie Worster from Utah. Senior big Andrew Morgan gets a lot of PT up front. Blue Ribbon rates them in the lower tier of Big Ten teams (12th) but I think they will do better than that. It's going to be very interesting to see how UCLA can do against them.
It will tell us a lot about dealing with road games in the BIG. Based on the number of Big Red fans the came to Honolulu, I'm sure their home crowd can't wait to see them back home against the Bruins.
