3 losses in succession is damaging enuf.

but, the last 2 gms exacerbated the slump with consecutive losses of 19 pts (home game) and 18 points (road) in two non-competitive games.

Pronounced head-to-head weakness in what I consider to generally be the most impt positions in the college game, orchestrating lead guard and post-up C (which Bilodeau is not and never has been) is where the rubber meets the road tonite. DA is shook on both ends and IMO needs to sit and read the game from the bench for extended mins, which leaves Perry to pick up the slack.

As to our post game, Rutgers is not imposing and this might present an opportunity to feed our post-up O "book", assuming we have one. Otherwise, I'd use our rare halfcourt set plays for pick & pops with Bilodeau from the perimeter.

The other essential is a concerted effort to cut down on TOs which is often a product of having to rush less-than-ideal perimeter shots as the possession clock winds down. Given the structure of our O & D, a multi-possession lead at the 30 min (3/4) pole is key to our unleashing our vice grip D via overplaying the passing lanes & winning the TO/deflections game-within-a-game.

Tomorrow is now here, as the B10 can be unforgiving and opposition coaches have an increasing trove of game tape to scheme against UCLA's rickety and relatively predictable O.
