That’s not really indicative of what’s going on in the NBA. Cronin hasn’t put an impactful player in the NBA while at UCLA. It’s safe to say no ucla coach has put less talent in the NBA as a whole. I’m almost certain Cronin has put zero starters in the NBA. NO JJ doesn’t count, Jimmy is the starter. And the Heat see Jovic and NOT JJ as untouchable.
OTOH, during this same period the Zags have put st least three very high level players in the NBA — Holmgren, Nehhardt and Suggs. Sabonis too, but they may have been pre-Cronin, I’m not sure of the timing.
So ICLA is putting very little talent in the NBA and the Zags are placing lottery picks.
