As Barry points out, this is partly due to a string of difficult games, but we also had games where we couldn't hit wide open shots and free throws.
The travel was also pretty clearly an issue.
As ej points out, we need to do more than win a couple of games, even if the Wisconsin game was a very good win.
We now have a string of 5 winnable games. If we win at least 4 of them, we should feel pretty good.
Depending on the bracketologist, we currently seem to be around a #8 or #9 seed in the tournament. We don't want to drop below that, but basically the goal is to keep improving as we get toward March and don't get injured.
I can still remember being in Las Vegas when Jordan Adams broke his foot in what was essentially a meaningless exhibition game. And we all remember more recent injuries to Jaylen Clark and Jaime Jacquez.
