I'd call it a pretty even match-up. MSU prolly wins on their floor. We were outrebounded 45 to 27. But, we turned them over by a margin of 16-3. I think the rebound stat is probably closer to being repeatable than the TO. MSU is on a 2 game skid, they're probably a top 15 team and we are probably a top 15 team, in that there are maybe 10 to 14 teams that would be favored over us on a neutral court.
That's great news! The team is improving. And, Mara & Dailey will surely continue to improve as the season goes on. Bilo will improve as his ankle heals. Perry has a lot of room for improvement (that's a compliment to TP, some guys are anonymous and they'll always be anonymous. TP is anonymous but I think there's something there). And, hopefully, we'll get better at maximizing Kyle. So, imo, MSU maybe at their ceiling, while we should be better, maybe significantly better, when Madness comes around.
