looking at tOSU, they have one player who is 6'6" but she's a freshman and I doubt she plays - if she does, she doesn't play very much at this point. They have a couple of 6'4" players and one 6'3". Their two best shooters are under 6" - one of the two is listed as 5'7". I say "listed" because roster heights are not to be blindly trusted. In short, at times they lie.
For us Betts is 6'7", Dugalic, Barker and Muse - don't think the latter is playing now - are 6'4" and Gardiner is 6'3". Don't think they can match up with us well.
As to heights, our roster lists Londyn Jones as stating 5'4" - perhaps she is - I just think of her height as Smurf in basketball terms
Comment - when you list teams in "our tier" not sure what you mean but if you list teams that could defeat us in the tournament, I'd have to say South Carolina, ND, UConn and the other SC could beat anyone on a given night - don't know Texas enough to comment - LSU is good but I haven't seen them quite at that level, HB. Could be wrong about that. But SC, the local one, with Watkins and Iriafen plus Marshall inside, on a given night I believe they could beat anyone. In terms of odds, just the teams with which I'm familiar, I give us the best odds by a step or three with South Carolina, UConn and ND as the next strongest odds (Texas and LSU just unsure). But because we start with Betts, I think we're top dog because of our versatility in sheer number of great players and ability to smaller, quicker and bigger than anyone else - flexibility. (Feel about this team similarly to how I felt about our '94-'95 men's NC team with our ability to match up with and beat any opponent of any style of play
