Lady Bruins played a poor game by their standards, sped up by the pressure, shot poorly, turned it over incessantly, etc.
Fortunately they were able to pull it together and Gabi Jaquez continues to provide whatever the team needs.
Have you watched the entirety of the season or other top notch women’s teams before making a blanket statement that disparages both women’s basketball and Wooden’s feelings on the game?
Personally, I’ll just continue to root for UCLA at 22-0 and applaud what Coach Close has done, not just from a purely basketball standpoint but also lifting up young women and helping them develop on and off the court.
