This is just a terribly deluded, ill-conceived post.
Look at what Cronin inherited at UCLA. Compare that to Dixon and Barnes.
Unquestionably, the best coach of this group is Barnes, who has made Tennessee into a national power. They are not a historically great program, but Barnes has made them into one.
If you gave Barnes that Alford roster, imagine what he may've done. Imagine Barnes coaching Jaquez and Campbell and others. I really think we'd have won a national title or at least gotten to multiple FFs.
Anyway, Cronin is driving a Ferrari. So even the world's least competent, yet licensed driver is going to look good driving the car. But Cronin doesn't know how to drive this car properly, and he's prone to road rage, bad decisions in traffic and getting lost.
I would HAPPILY take either Barnes or Dixon as our coach tomorrow, without hesitation.
