Frustrating game to watch for the first 3 quarters. Lots of stagnant offense, Betts getting beat up with no calls, and turnovers. Illinois looked far inferior to the Michigan State team we just played. Gardiner looked rushed with her shots, in contrast to the last game. The number of missed layups was shocking.
As a side note, we sit right above the tunnel and saw Janiah Barker on the trainer's table getting her knee looked at. She was grimacing and Camryn Brown was holding her hand, which was very cute. But hopefully it wasn't anything serious and she just needs some time and treatment. She's a game changer with her explosiveness.
