in particular is worth taking the time. In this he specifically contrasts what Cori tried to do in the third quarter when Illinois came roaring back and in the final quarter when we pulled away,

I think we did the actual pull away part once Kiki Rice took the game into her own hands and went on a solo 8-0 run in perhaps a minute to blow the whole thing up but it was Betts who kept us in the game to that point,

I think when we play her down low, it forces the opponent to take one defender completely out of the rest of play having to stay behind her and also occupies another opposing big who has to stay close enough to help should the ball be tossed in to Betts. That leave the other four Bruins playing four against three and creates more space to move the ball around to make things happen.

Lee's game story describes the action as it played out last night succinctly and with a very good eye.

I too enjoy David Woods and his mentality and sense of humor and fun play. Only when he loses patience - and humor - about something does he get overbearing. Both are interesting and valuable assets to follow imo
