at my current age, I still don't like to play from the Senior tees. Most people I meet for the first time think I'm still in my early 70s and don't look close to my actual age. I weigh the same as I did when I was 25 and have very few facial wrinkles. Funny thing, about 5 years ago, I was playing in a local tournament and I kept outdriving this 40 year old and his ego was apparently hurt. We all shared our ages before we teed off since we were handicapped by age grouping. After a few holes, he insinuated I wasn't truthful about my age. I had to show him my Drivers License to prove it.
I still go down to the local Jr College and HS at times and help some of the youngsters with their free throw shooting. I can still make them. It's just like riding a bicycle, you never forget.
At my age, it's great to still be capable of being both physically and mentally active. Other than being born with good genes and never smoking, if there is a secret to a long life, that may be it.
