O don’t disagree that he looked lost but IMO he has a huge upside. He has a better stroke than either DA or Skyy … has more height and is much more athletic than either of our starting guards. His playing time this year has been limited to 11 minutes a game and a lot of that has come in slop time. I am sure he is frustrated. I don’t disagree that his value at this point is limited to situations where his ft shooting (over 80%) is a plus. I thought he should have been brought along earlier in the season to give him the game experience that is needed to develop at the D-1 level … too late now and he looks like it … I hope he comes back because if he does, he will start over DA next year if DA keeps his disappearing act going. (Not to dog DA but we can see what he can do … he just doesn’t do it for 2/3 of his minutes.).
I guess my eyes are getting too old for this game because I see potential in Trent.
