… for yesterday’s game early, including winning the top, and scoring those early 6 points.
And not enough can be said about Johnson, who didn’t have it going with his three last night, but he doesn’t let that get him down - he just finds other ways to help the team win by passing, rebounding, and of course, defensively.
Clark probably had his best game of his UCLA career. Mara his top one or two. Andrews hit a key three when the game was still in question, as well as finding Mara for that plus one layup in the last second of the first half.
I was glad to see Lazar get a bucket late. A lot of guys might have been pressing on senior day. He was all team. Sometimes too much (why he passed up that one layup to shoot the ball to Dailey I’ll never know.
Dailey was just insanely good on both ends of the court. I’d say that was certainly his best game of his UCLA careeer. He picked a good night for it.
Perry still a work in progress. And Mack is still up and down - he was awful in the first half and shined in the second. A video clip of that possession late in the ame where he dribbled the ball for probably over 20 seconds and them turned it over should be on the cover of his social media page ;-). At least he understood that we were just looking to burn time.
