12 threes made the first half (they average 10 a game) and the defense looks lost out there in giving up so many open threes. Wisc is looking to score and moving the ball very well. The Bruins seem to be stuck on playing around on the perimeter.
Without a lot of great three point shooters, and the way Wisc is toying with the Bruin's D, this game looks like it is out of reach. Hate to be negative but that's about as bad a half as I can recall the Bruins playing this season.
After watching Northwestern hang pretty close with them yesterday (held them to 8 for 25 threes) and losing by only 7 points, I thought the Bruins would hold their own today. Not so, thus far. Hope they can at least make some sort of a game of it the second half and not get totally embarrassed. This is not the kind of performance I'd like to see prior to going into the NCAA tourney. I'm surprised Cronin hasn't blown a gasket so far.
