well coached. Cronin's peers see that and have stated so.

This team also plays hot and cold. They have shown IMO the skills, talent, and abilities to win the whole thing (or at least compete for it), and they have also shown the ability to lose in the first round of both the B1G conference tourney and the NCAA's. We've just seen the down side.

This team doesn't yet know how to play consistently or how to prepare themselves mentally for each game. Part of that is always on the coach, but IMO the bulk of the responsibility lays squarely on the players' shoulders. Each player must find a way to prepare himself physically, mentally, and emotionally for each game.

If the Bruins play like this again they could easily have another early exit - perhaps even in the first round. It's really up to them as to which team shows up for their next game and every other game after that if there any.

Everything that happens with a team is on some level the responsibility of the coach. But in preparing oneself to compete that's mostly on each individual player. They have to grow up and understand that they have been coached up and now they have to perform. We'll see how the players react to this drubbing and whether they have the intestinal fortitude to ante up and finally put a sustained effort forward commensurate with their enormous potential.
