the previous time out by Maryland with 7.5 seconds remaining in the game. Looking ahead and preparing the team for potential end game/last few second scenarios is what good coaches do. And IMO, Dusty May is a very good coach. I really like his in game demeanor too. That end game play was worked to perfection. Players obviously listened in the huddle.
In all games but particularly this time of the year, good guard play is essential to a team's success. Before this tournament, Donaldson was playing badly and Mich lost their last 3 games. But suddenly, in the last 2 conference tournament games, Donaldson is playing like an all conference guard--and Mich is winning. He (and the others) will need to continue that solid play if they are to beat Wisconsin today.
I'm only bringing this up because of the Bruin's inconsistent and often poor guard play and how important it is that they step up their games if the Bruins are going to have any chance at all to advance in the NCAA tournament.
