texting. People trying save thumbstrokes. pretty much all of my texting is to friends and family. We use shortcuts that we all know the meanings of. When I venture out of my orbit its hard not to use the same language.

Their are now webpages devoted to shortcuts. LOL, brb, ty, etc.

Ask anyone outside this UCLA bubble what CMC refers to.
