The NCAA isn't out to screw anybody

Having to spend an extra couple hours on a plane ride and a couple hours time difference with a few less fans (UCLA fans don't travel well anyway) isn't "screwing" anybody. We've already done that several times this season, so it isn't something we aren't used to.

The NCAA has to optimize travel by having less travel for most of the teams. Look at the map of teams in the 2023 tournament. Of course the Eastern and Midwest teams are going to have less travel. There are just a limited number of western venues and many more teams on the other side of the country. That's based on geography, not some evil plan by the NCAA.
