Is the SEC really far better than the Big Ten or any other conf.?

In the media and message boards you would think the SEC teams would beat the Big Ten teams 75-80% of the time (in a super round robin). In fact they are 10-9 vs. the Big Ten this season. In the NCAA Tournament they are just at 5-5, while the Big Ten is still undefeated...
