Guards, particularly PGs, are critical to a teams success

and that's out in front for everyone to see come March Madness. Teams with mediocre to average guards rarely advance very far in their conference or the tournaments. That pretty much applies to all teams, not just the Bruins. A top level, skilled, coach on the floor type PG is essential to all teams that aspire to be championship level teams.
