Not that many. Only Cooper Flagg was considered as great coming out of high school and most the other All-Americans transferred from smaller programs with no guarantee they could excel at major schools. Braden Smith was a 3-star in high school. John Tonje averaged 3 points a game at Missouri before he transferred to Wisconsin.
Look at the list of 2nd and 3rd teams All-Americans and few of them you probably even heard of before the season and some even during the season.
